This is a summary of the 30-day introductory How to Meditate course on the Calm App. The instructor is Jeff Warren. He also appears on another meditation app, Ten Percent Happier.

I have to say Jeff has an amazing voice as far as a teacher is concerned.

This course introduces four major mediation techniques, concentration, clarity, equanimity, and friendliness. Concentration, clarity and equanimity are the essence of meditation according to Shinzen Young. Shinzen is Jeff’s teacher.
